大学简介：
大学位于威尔士北部、沿海城镇班戈的中心；被思诺多尼亚国家公园壮观的海岸和山脉怀抱着。班戈与伦敦有直达铁路（4小时路程）；有双向马路、高速路和铁路，可通往曼彻斯特国际机场。乘船或火车只需3个小时就可到都柏林。班戈大学已有100多年的历史了。

Profile: Professor of Banking & Finance and Teaching Division Director of Studies.
Philip Molyneux is currently Professor in Banking and Finance and Director of the Institute of European Finance at the University of Wales, Bangor. He is also the Special Chair of Financial Services and Financial Conglomerates at Erasmus University, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
His main area of research is on the structure and efficiency of banking markets and he has published widely in this area including recent publications in: the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, European Economic Review, Economica, Economics Letters.
Pofessor Molyneux has published a variety of texts on banking areas and has acted as a consultant to: New York Federal Reserve Bank, World Bank, European Commission, UK Treasury; Citibank Private Bank, Bermuda Commercial Bank, McKinsey & co, Credit Suisse and various other international banks and consulting firms.

Profile: John Goddard was appointed to his present position in Bangor Business School in January 2005, having formerly been appointed as Professor in Economics at University of Wales Swansea. He has worked previously at University of Wales, Bangor, Abertay University and the University of Leeds. He also has several years' practitioner experience in the UK life insurance sector.
His research interests are in Industrial Organization, the Economics of Financial Institutions, and the Economics of Professional Sports. He has recent publications in Journal of Money Credit and Banking, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Forecasting, European Journal of Operational Research and International Journal of Industrial Organization. He is co-author of the monograph The Economics of Football (Cambridge University Press, 2001), and co-author of the textbook Industrial Organization: Competition, Strategy, Policy (FT Prentice Hall, 2005).
