Statement of Purpose URë&dotU%÷Nbbs.eduglobal.comìê=dô&defÑùC¦ URë&dotU%÷Nbbs.eduglobal.comìê=dô&defÑùC¦After my graduation from Financial Accounting of Department of Economic Management of Beijing Youth Politics College in July 2000, I have been holding office in International Education Communication Centre of Beijing Institute of Technology. Over two years working experience makes me deeply realize that my learning and ability now available are far away from the requirement of decent individual development. In this effort, I sincerely submit my application for the program of XXX at XXX University. I was fond of learning every subjects and imbibing extracurricular knowledge of all kinds and remained high interest in novelties all the time. For that, I always ranked among the best and had been conferred the title of “Excellent Student” for several years in succession. With high score and various titles, I smoothly entered middle school. URë&dotU%÷Nbbs.eduglobal.comìê=dô&defÑùC¦ URë&dotU%÷Nbbs.eduglobal.comìê=dô&defÑùC¦In middle school, studies took up most of my time, but what teachers taught in class couldn’t satisfy my thirsty for knowledge. I, at last, was selected and recommended to study in Beijing Olympic Physics School and English School, in which my classmates and I competed with each other and learned from each other by using of few time per week. The autumn of 1994 saw my entry into Beijing No. 101 High School just at the corner of Round Right Garden, the key school in Beijing. New competition would begin. The study was heavy but interesting. Far too often I couldn’t extricate myself from intense studies as well as student work. At the beginning, I assumed as secretary of League Branch of our class. Subsequently I took up editor and concurrently announcer in our school’s radio station. I made best use of time and energy to strike proper balance between studies and student work because of my hate of being outdone. Thanks to my leadership, our class was chosen as Excellent League Branch and the “101 Voice”, the radio station I represented, was awarded the first prize of Radio Hook-up of Beijing Key Schools. The school I was in paid concentrated attention to not only teaching quality but also physical exercises. Little by little I grew up into a person of strong character and full vigour. A teacher of gymnastic team took a fancy to my excellent pliability. She encouraged me to follow her to exercise gymnastics. After comprehensive consideration, I took it as my hobby instead of specialized development in that I firmly believed that I could dig further deep down within myself. Disappointing, that is, I failed to get the admission to regular college with 7 points to the qualified grade. I was enrolled in Beijing Youth Politics College to major in Financial Accounting. The reason why I didn’t take the National University Entrance Examination for another time was my conviction that I would forge ahead to reverse the failed trend rather than shrink from difficulties. So in the three years college life, I never slacked off in my studies. Under strict grading system, I still maintained my scores above 80%. Acting as the head of Propaganda Department of our department’s student union, I brought my proficiency in drawing and strong organizing ability into full play, and meanwhile cultivated good communication skills and ability of meeting contingency through communication with students of many colleges. In addition, I had self-taught all the courses of Microsoft Office and subjects concerning Economic Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Psychology and the like, by which my knowledge framework was greatly enriched. In regard to part-time job that was quite related to my interest, I would never let the chance slip. What I settled on was the accumulation of working experience before I set foot in society but not the salary. In 98’ Intel Developer Conference, I partook of the organizing work in earlier stage and later stage. As a result, I won nod approval from superiors of Intel Company. URë&dotU%÷Nbbs.eduglobal.comìê=dô&defÑùC¦ URë&dotU%÷Nbbs.eduglobal.comìê=dô&defÑùC¦Upon my graduation with a junior college diploma, I was engaged in International Education Communication Centre of Beijing Institute of Technology for person in charge of human resources of General Manager Office. As is known to all, this job is a bridge between employees and employers to serve the two and coordinate the relationship between them. To me, just a graduate, this was a big challenge, beyond doubt. But I was willing to meet it. It took me only one month to acquaint myself with the personal data and employment situation of the some 140 staff and clarify the work cycle, procedure and standard pertaining to duties of person in charge of human resources. At the dawn of the second month, I gave my superiors a big surprise to offer my innovative plan, with the result that my probation period was all up in advance. In the over two years, I independently drew up many important human resources regulations and implemented them, drafted some 200 odd files, such as cost budgets of labour and capital, manning quotas, labour contracts, plans of training and inviting applications for jobs, all kinds of circulars, summaries and reports and so on. In my spare time, I studied many relevant knowledge related to management and required Chinese Certificate issued by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Sentry Certificate issued by Beijing Labour and Social Security Bureau. Then weighing the relative importance of many universities and considering my own factors, I set my mind on your university. Australia has a strong fascination for me since I was a little girl. After I grow up, I understand that it has sophisticated agricultural technology, top-notch technological strength and advanced management experience that developing countries like China should use for reference. And Australia is generous enough to welcome foreign students from all over the world and shows solicitude for their demands, what with comfortable climate and peaceful and stable society, it is my ideal choice. Most importantly, your university’s profound cultural background, perfect educational system, quality faculty and modern teaching facilities capture my heart and inspire me to make efforts to be one member of your university and your program.
