Me:Good morning!
Vo:Good morning!(头也不抬,看材料)Why do you want to go to US?

Me: I will study psychology at *** U for my Bachelor’s Degree. You see, I want to be a psychologist, and concentrate in psychology counseling.

Vo:I asked WHY!!（知道是personal reason）
分析：VO的意思是为什么不在中国而是去美国读本科。可以先说自己的专业，但要马上引出为什么要去美国学而不在中国学。
Me: Because US has more advanced education in this field. You know, the two best psychology undergraduate programs, Beijing normal U and shanghai east normal U have only several decades' history in teaching psychology. Fudan U only began its psychology undergraduate program in 2002. So the education in the States will help me to lay a solid foundation for my future career back in shanghai. (我的铺垫啊)I want to have the best education and I am confident that I made the right decision.
分析：申请者在这里陈述的原因还是比较合理的。不过条理稍微差一点。应该先说自己想学心理学，但是中国目前这个领域的本科教育起点很低（正如申请者列举的原因）。然后再说美国在这个领域的教育非常发达先进，所以去美国读本科。Vo: (敲电脑中不理睬我) your plan after graduation?
Me: I will go back to shanghai and work as an assistant psychology counselor for a year. After I got my certification in counseling .I will open my own counseling business.
分析：这些目标恐怕太不现实了！学个本科就当顾问？还开公司？有这个专业实力和经济实力吗？与自己的实际能力不符。And I want to find out my position in the society and carefully consider whether a further education will be needed. I don't intend to take grad schools in the U.S. Instead, I expect to change my study environment if I make up my mind to further my studies, I might study in this area in Japan, since I will focus on Asian psychology. And Japan is the best place to go. (American undergraduate focus more on general theories.)
Vo: certificate?&^%$#
分析：这段问题很严重。自己说I don't intend to take grad schools in the U.S.这不是不打自招吗？谁问你读不读研究生了？即使VO问这个问题，也不应该这样回答。应该说“现在不能给你一个确定的答复，因为四年是很长的时间，我无法对四年以后的事情做出明确决定。如果到时候我认为我的水平还不够，我会考虑这个问题”。这样的回答比较合理。后面就更荒唐了，把日本提出来了。怎么日本又成最理想的地方了？那干脆现在就去日本好了，为什么还要去美国？表明自己不会滞留美国要有充分的理由，不是随便说个其他国家就表明自己不会留在美国。以上的叙述根本不合理，思路混乱。Me: I need a year’s hands-on experience to take the test.

Vo: (没有看我，但是我一直看着他) gaokao??
Me: oh, I am going to take it .that’s why I get my visa appointment this early, so I can set aside enough time and energy preparing for it.
Gaokao is a summary of 12 years' study here in China; I really do not want to miss this one-time life experience. Though I probably will get my BA in the US.
分析：既然决定去美国留学，可以直接说自己没有参加高考，因为目标是去美国读大学。尽管自己有能力在中国读本科，但不是最佳的选择。而申请者说赶紧签证，然后好准备高考。这听上去很不符合逻辑。既然准备出国了，还集中精力准备高考干什么？高考的目的就是在中国上大学，不在中国上大学，就没有理由把高考看的那么重。诸如“Gaokao is a summary of 12 years' study here in China; I really do not want to miss this one-time life experience.”这类话，外国人是理解不了的。中国人的思维的最大特点就是“中庸”。明明是矛盾的两个事物，中国人却把他们联系在一起。根本就不需要高考，还同时把高考说的对自己特别重要。这种思维美国人不能接受。Vo: Show me your grade.
Me:(晕，他没有听明白我说的话啊)I am taking it next month.

Vo: have you study aborad?
Me: no , I haven’t
Vo: have you been aborad before?
Me: No , but I will visit singapore, because I won *&^%$, and was awarded a study trip to Singapore this July.

Vo: oh , *&^%$ 叫了隔壁的vo过来一起看电脑。屏幕里面有n条记录
Me: anything wrong?
%^$&*&
分析：这N条记录是怎么回事？我怀疑他可能同时拿者几个学校的I-20表。从上下文不能做出明确判断。要是真的这样，单凭这一点，VO就有足够的理由拒签。Me:看到递出来的收据 is this my receipt?
Vo: Yes ,your receipt. I can not believe you. You should take gaokao!
Me: (认为他不相信我有能力完成学业) it’s easy for me get into Fudan U.
Vo: excellent!
Me: 瞪大眼睛不明白中
VO: you can study at fudan U and apply after 4 years!
Me: what? 脱口而出，因为出离愤怒了

Vo: 给我白纸，盖章.
Me: Do you want to see my TOEFL and SAT scores，school report?
Vo: no.
Me: so can you give me any suggestions. Do you mean you denied me because I did not take gaokao?
Vo: I do not believe you. You do not have strong ties here. 开始生气 you can go.
总之，通过上面的分析可以知道，申请者的回国计划不符合实际，思路混乱，在对高考的问题上自相矛盾，因此签证官根本就不相信他，认为他和中国没有牢固的“约束力”，并做出拒签的决定。

他没有问任何ties 的问题,但我有在几个问题里面提到会上海工作的问题。
（分析：tie 不是一个具体问题，是通过VO对你的了解体现出来的！提到回来工作并不表示肯定有strong tie.）
没有看我的任何额外材料。但是似乎认真看了我的I-20.我认为回答的问题都是蛮积极的。而且也给了一点我的background.不会是我说的太快了……
